Maalox Plus Suspension is an antacid suspension that relieves your symptoms in two different ways:
- Antacid - Neutralises excess stomach acid.
- Anti-gas Ingredient - reduces gas pain and pressure.
Instructions
How to Use
- Adults and children aged over 12 years: Take 2-4 5ml spoonfuls four times a day or as directed.
- Children under 12 years: Not recommended.
- Shake suspension well before using.
- Do not take more than 16 spoonfuls in 24 hours.
Warnings
- Do not take more than 16 spoonfuls in 24 hours.
- Do not take Maalox Suspension for more than 2 weeks.
- Do not take this within 2 hours of other medication because it may reduce effectiveness of other products. Consult your doctor if you suffer from kidney disease or intestinal obstruction.

- Constipation
- Diarrhoea
- Allergic or anaphylactic reactions, signs include; red and lumpy skin rash, swollen eyelids, face, lips, mouth or tongue, itching, difficulty breathing or swallowing.
